Best of Tech Awards
NEOSA is proud to recognize outstanding companies and impressive tech entrepreneurs in the region by presenting the annual Best of Tech Awards. Recognizing great companies and leaders helps us promote this region as an awesome place to live and work, where cool companies are doing great things.
We're proud to announce categories for the 2010 NEOSA Best of Tech Awards. Click on the category to nominate your company:
- Best Software Product
recognizing outstanding software products based on creativity, market needs addressed, market traction and strategic potential.
- Best Mobile App
recognizing outstanding products developed specifically for a mobile device or to leverage mobile technology
- Best Social Media App
recognizing outstanding software designed for social networking or social media; Nominated applications may include custom designed/implemented apps for clients, widgets, plug-ins or applications that run on various platforms.
- Best IT Services Company
recognizing outstanding achievement for firms providing information technology related services and/or products, such as infrastructure support, staffing solutions, custom development and so forth.
- Best Internship Program
recognizing companies who have developed and implemented outstanding internship programs. Nominated companies can include technology companies or the information technology division of non-technology companies
- Best Emerging Company
recognizing tech businesses that demonstrate exceptional, recent growth coupled with strong potential for future growth and value
- Best Tech innovation
recognizing innovative companies, products or processes from the region’s tech community. Company's are encouraged to nominate an innovation that's created competitive advantage for their business, such as an innovative product, an innovative business model, an innovative development process and so forth.

Nominations will open on Monday February 22 and will close on Monday April 12.
Finalists as well as winners will be selected for each category. Winners will beannounced and awards will be presented at the annual Best of Tech Awards dinner on Wednesday May 19.
Winners and Finalists will be profiled on the NEOSA blog and in a NEOSA podcast as well as in a profile story in InsideBusiness.
